Architectural Style

The first milestone we set was to build a state of the art house with an architectural style. This means every item in the house has a reason and a purpose. La Solana is a house designed by HGR Arquitectos, a Firm holding several awards, acknowledgments and articles in the most important media of the gender worldwide. Acapulco’s plant life is unique throughout the world, therefore we considered integrating the house to this beautiful ecosystem achieving for the house to have absolute privacy regarding the other houses of the Las Brisas Neighborhood. La Solana is surrounded by beautiful trees, palm trees, a variety of flowers, among other. All landscaping was perfectly designed as a whole with the house. La Solana is located on an exclusive land, from which it is possible to enjoy the sunset all year round, as well as admiring Acapulco bay, the Roqueta island and a beautiful mountain conformed by vast vegetation. For HGR Arquitectos the materials used for building the house were very important. Therefore, all the materials of La Solana (floors, bathrooms, walls, wood finishing, etc.) were carefully selected and chosen not only based on their high quality but also based on the harmony created as a whole under a unique and harmonic project in all senses, thus achieving a master piece.

Illumination and Garnishment

Trying to satisfy all the senses of guests at La Solana, this house is designed with a modern and complex illumination system that intends to embellish the house at night. Illumination is integrated by led lights mostly dress up all the house and the green areas. Likewise, garnishing the house was one of the most important items of HGR Arquitectos. Decoration consists of artistic photographs, sculpture, paintings and a great range of furnishing of the highest quality, consistent with the project. All of it inside a natural environment inside an extended vegetation that promotes privacy, leisure and harmony.

Comfort

Another important aim of the project was to build a comfortable home, a house where guests obtain real rest, where they have different areas to be at, with different views and different environments. From a roof garden surrounded by vegetation and covered by a vast shadow made by a ficus nearly 100 years old, where a panoramic view of all the bay and the open see is appreciated – made by a dining room, living room and sunbeds – an outdoors dining room with a barbecue and great vegetation of palm trees and flowers, or a dining/living room that tries to recover the spirit of the houses of Old Acapulco with an immense ceiling covered in stone and white marble floors mix in front of a spectacular view of the Acapulco bay; and there is also a wide family room – with all the amenities proper of this room – inspired in leisure for those rainy or hot days with wide spaces and a nice dining room with its own bathroom.

Environmentally friendly

At the house La Solana we are aware of the environment and this is not possible if it does not integrate green generating systems, of renewable energies. For such purposes, the house has solar state of the art panels who allow important savings of traditional power supply costs and avoid a negative impact in the environment. This is an alternative energy source ever since the main power supply at La Solana is traditional electric power.

Services

Service is not the exception at La Solana. For such purposes, we have exceptional permanent personnel integrated by a cook, a prep cook, two maids, gardener, driver and a waiter. All personnel are highly trained and we are pleased to recognize that there is not staff rotation at La Solana, thus they have our absolute trust.

Membership & Activities

Furthermore, guests of La Solana have different options and activities during the day.

Tennis Club: Restaurant, Gym, Tennis, Paddle Tennis, Pool with swimming lanes, movies, pool with a slide and amenities for children.

La Concha: restaurants, beach, salt water pool, pool, panoramic view of the bay, dock to board vessels, scuba diving, etc. All the purchases include a 10% discount with the Membership to La Solana.

Environment friendly Beach: spectacular private beach surrounded by two mountains of green vegetation. The environment friendly beach has a wooden fly roof with sunbeds to enjoy the view and the sound of the see waves. The environment friendly beach has kayaks to paddle at the sea. Access to the environment friendly beach is through a rain-forest beginning at a water spring and a mangrove surrounded by plants and animals.

Spa and Restaurant Las Brisas Hotel: Access and 20% discount in the restaurant Buena Vista of Las Brisas, as well as in the Spa of the Hotel.

Amenities

La Solana, has several amenities among which we have a movie room, hot bath, mist cooling systems throughout all the open areas of the house – this technology allows to reduce outdoors temperature up to 5 degrees-, Smart TV in all the rooms with cable programs, Netflix, DVD and videogames. It also has a sophisticated music system in all the areas of the house with speakers of the highest quality and technology that works from an Ipad or directly from the cellular phones having the Sonos app. Each area of the house has its own speakers which allows to hear different kinds of music with the app Sonos in the different areas at a different volume. The house also has a pool and a hot tub with a modern filter that replaces the harmful chlorine by mineral salts. This avoids the skin to irritate as a result of using those kind of chemicals as chlorine, especially that of sensitive persons or children. The hot tub is temperature controlled and hosts up to 8 people. Also, the house has translucent shades and electronic black outs allowing the use thereof and allows each area of the house to have a proper atmosphere for each hour of the day. La Solana has air condition in all closed areas and has WiFi inside all the property.

La Solana has 5 bedrooms. Out of those five, the master bedroom is located in the upper part. Since this room is located in a floor that only coexists with the roof garden, this room has the most privacy of all the house. This bedroom has a king size bed, a lounge, a small studio and a wide bathroom with panoramic view of the open see. This room was designed to have absolute rest, based on its spaciousness, privacy, amenities (70” Smart TV, Sonos, Apple TV, DVD, computer, refrigerator, coffee machine, hot bath, etc.) and its stunning views this room invites the guests to spend lots of hours in this part of the house. The roof garden has a private dining room, sunbeds and a small lounge. Additionally, La Solana has 3 bedrooms with two queen size beds each and a fifth bedroom with a king size bedroom. All the bedrooms have Smart TV, cable television, beautiful views, etc.
